Tucked between residential streets, this mini-market is all about warm lights, cozy corners, homemade treats and a relaxed winter vibe. Because it’s away from the main tourist paths, most visitors never discover it — making it one of the most charming and authentic Christmas spots in the city.
Belgrade Night Market at Bajloni: Local Food, Art & Christmas Spirit
If there is one event I never miss in December, it’s the Belgrade Night Market at Bajloni. One of the busiest Belgrade december events.
This is honestly my favorite winter event in the city — the atmosphere, the crowd, the music, the food… everything feels alive, warm, and full of holiday spirit. And yes, I will definitely be there this year.
You will probably find me at Ginović stand, so feel free to come and say hi – and don’t forget to try their hot gin, my absolute number one winter drink.
One of the coolest things about this night market is how many amazing small producers you can meet. For example, Zlobex always brings incredible spicy sauces made from top-quality peppers. If you love artisanal food, this is where you’ll discover some of the best local flavors.
And of course… the sweets.
So. Many. Sweets.
Every corner you turn, there’s another table full of cakes, cookies, and holiday treats. My personal favorite? Anything with poppy seeds — I can’t resist it.
The market usually takes place on the last Friday before New Year’s Eve, which means this year it will most likely be December 26.

The best part is: the market stays open until midnight, and the party truly goes on until the very last minute. It’s lively, fun, festive, and one of the most authentic winter experiences you can have in Belgrade.
